Good to know
Your photo
- Sample faces upload nothing.
- Your own photo goes to YouCam for analysis, and again if you ask for a predicted result. We keep nothing on our server, and YouCam deletes it after 24 hours.
- Best results: face the camera, glasses off, even light.
What this is not
- Not medical advice.
- YouCam is the sensor. Nothing in the rule or the noise tests is specific to YouCam except the input format.
- Cut-offs are our own heuristic from five faces.
- A different photo of the same face can move a score. We measured by how much: see the evidence.
- Using YouCam's display score instead of the raw score would change 8 of our 36 verdicts.
- A predicted result is a preview, not a promise.
- The skin age on your results is YouCam's estimate. It does not affect any verdict.
- The shelf is fictional.
